We had a great experience with an airport pick up. The company followed the flight and knew we were going to be 1.5 hours late. They texted us when we landed to advise they were outside. Great service!! Clean vehicles, great drivers, perfect service.

I had the opportunity for a business transaction with some folks from Up North Taxi. Their professionalism and commitment to the customer shined through during the whole transaction. It was a pleasure doing business with someone so dedicated to their customers.

Excellent service. My ride was waiting for me when my flight arrived. The vehicle was clean and the driver was friendly. I would recommend Up North Taxi. I was going to use Up North Rides & Taxi, who say they are in Traverse City online, but they are not! They are in Petoskey, which is 2 hours away!

P.S. I’ve read some reviews complaining about their pricing, but you get what you pay for. This is not a cab company with run-down vehicles and sleezy drivers. If you want fantastic service with a nice, clean vehiicle, go with Up North Taxi.

Nancy and her team were absolutely fantastic for our bachelorette weekend!!! We had 17 girls which was not easy to coordinate with, but Nancy made it so easy. She was always prompt in response, consistently answered her phone, and was able to move times around as we needed throughout the night. Her drivers were safe, efficient, and so flexible. I would recommend her company for anyone looking for reliable transportation in the traverse city area. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Nancy and team!

Tim, The Owner was so accommodating to my travel needs. He helped me feel at ease with scheduling my travel needs. Both Scott and Jon were early to pick up, helpful and friendly. Top notch service! Highly recommended and professional.

All of the drivers are excellent. They all know me, because I haven’t been able to drive myself much. They drive carefully, are helpful with things I need help with, and today Rich drove me from Traverse City to Glen Arbor, waited while I chose some art at the Forest Gallery, helped put things in the van carefully, then drove us back with easy driving, as I had rteq1uested, but as I think he might always do, and interesting and fun conversation. I highly recommend Up North Taxi!

We’ve gotten several rides from Up North – always a great experience! The booking process is easy and well organized, the drivers are all great, friendly folks and everything flows smoothly and on time. On our last trip, Steve even gave saved us when our own car, where he was leaving us, turned out to have a dead battery. We’d recommend a ride with Up North to anyone!

After years of hit and miss cab service in the TC area and almost non-existent Uber/Lyft, I unexpectedly discovered Up North Taxi after arriving at Cherry Capital Airport late on August 23, 2024. After no luck finding other rides, I decided to walk outside—airport was deserted….but there was Up North Taxi!! Very nice ride, driver, rate….perfect.

Jon, our taxi driver, was professional, very timely and a great conversationalist. Highly recommend using Upnorth Taxi!!

We used Up North Taxi for my bachelorette weekend, and couldn’t have been more happy with them! The service was truly above and beyond. On the way into Traverse City, my flight was delayed in the air, and Nancy waited for me for 30 minutes at no extra charge. We also used one of their larger passenger vans for transport to and from my lake house (~20 minutes outside TC) and downtown Traverse City, and had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend! P.S. I should also mention that we were there over July 4th weekend (and the Cherry Festival), which I can only imagine is one of their busiest weekends of the year. We never felt it!

Up North Taxi should be FIRST choice for transportation in Traverse City. I provided flight information, texted our departure from Minneapolis and our ride was ready when we walked out the door. Plenty of room in the clean, comfortable vans. Same prompt, courteous service the next morning returning to the Airport. These gentlemen are the standard for exceptional customer service!

We had a great experience with Up North Taxi! We called and had a ride in less than an hour for our dinner reservations. We were able to coordinate our return trip as well and set our minds at ease while we enjoyed our night out. Dispatch was great to talk to and informative for coordinating our ride.
